Kindness towards the Mother causes blessings here below and mercy in the hereafter, from Sheikh Raslan
ALLAH has commanded the human being to behave properly with his parents, by constantly being benevolent towards them through words and actions and by refraining from being malevolent. Allah indeed says: "We have commanded man to treat his father and mother well." (Al-Ankabut: 8). Allah has therefore commanded the human being to show kindness to his parents and to obey them in what is lawful. Servants of Allah! The fact that Allah has enjoined children to treat their parents well by addressing them with beautiful words, by spending in their favor and by being benevolent towards them in different ways, is among the forms of His benevolence towards His servants and His recognition towards parents.
Being benevolent towards one's parents is part of a Muslim's duties. Moreover, religious texts abound to justify that kindness towards the mother is an obligation. In his desire to get closer to Allah, the believer must adopt an exemplary and honorable behavior. The holy nature also pushes us to behave well with our parents.
Kindness towards the mother, a way to show gratitude
Parents consent to many sacrifices to provide their children with a good education. Moreover, those most concerned about the future of their little ones aim for excellence. But here again, it is necessary to define what excellence is. Indeed, it is observed that parents place a lot of emphasis on the future of their children. However, some choose to prioritize their academic, then professional, journey at the expense of spiritual development.
Muslim women who have understood the stakes devote themselves more to religious instruction. Moreover, no one can question the influence of the mother on child development. This work highlights the kindness towards the mother. When the child becomes an adult, he must show compassion and gratitude towards his mother. Thus, he will acquire the good behavior so advocated by Islam.
Kindness towards the mother is for everyone
Everyone agrees that we must show benevolence towards our parents, and especially the mother. Even non-Muslims take care of their parents when they reach an advanced age. This work by Sheikh Raslan highlights this precept based on the verses of the Quran and the hadiths.
Despite all the efforts made, a child can never repay his mother, because she has made countless sacrifices. However, good behavior pushes us to make ourselves available.
The parent / child relationship in Islam
Dads and moms have an obligation to provide an education conducive to the child's development. Then, when they reach adulthood, they must show benevolence towards their parents. Kindness towards the mother and father should be among our priorities.
