The Deviation of Youth by Sheikh Sulayman Ar-Ruhay - IBN BADIS Edition

Young people and youth are the strength of society, they are its pillar. However, the rectitude of any society, or rather of any community, is linked, even depends on the rectitude of its youth. This rule is generally valid in terms of rectitude. Thus, young people, dear brothers, are for the community what the heart is for the body: if it is healthy, the entire body is healthy; but if it is corrupt and deviant, this then affects the whole society. In most cases, the young person necessarily presents a certain eccentricity. This is why it is reported from Abû Hurayra رضي الله عنه that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "There are seven whom Allah will cover with His shadow on the day when there will be no shadow but His: the just imam; the young man who grew up in the worship of his Lord; ... [al-Bukhârî n° 629].

It is out of mercy for these, out of desire to enlighten our own selves and our brothers on this dangerous issue, out of aspiration that we all, by the grace and permission of Allah, take the path of righteousness and rectitude and avoid the paths of deviation and regret, that I wanted to submit this question to my brothers, while clarifying some causes of deviation and the means to remedy them.
