The city of the Noble Messenger [named] Tayybah, the good city, is a place of the descent of divine Revelation and of the angel Gabriel, the trustworthy, on the Noble Messenger Mohammed. It is also the ultimate refuge of faith, the meeting point of the Muhajirin (emigrants from Mecca) and the Ansar (auxiliaries of Medina).

It is the homeland of those who have settled there and who have adopted the faith, It is, moreover, the first capital of the Muslims. It is in this city that the banners of Jihad (the fight for the cause of Allah) were raised [for the first time]. It is from this city that the fighters of Truth set out in search of bringing humanity out of darkness and directing them towards the Light, It is from this city that faith spread and the Earth radiated with Light and divine Guidance. Finally, it is the territory of emigration of the chosen prophet Mohammed: it is towards it that he emigrated and it is within it that he lived the end of his life. It is where he died and where he was buried. It is finally from there where he will be resurrected, and his tomb will be the first of the tombs to separate from its owner [on the Day of Resurrection] The exact location of no prophet's tomb is known with certainty, apart from the location of his tomb. I have been of the opinion to write this article on the value of this blessed city and to explain what is the appropriate behavior to adopt, when one lives there or visits it. I will therefore mention firstly a certain number of its virtues, then a set of good behaviors to adopt there, whether by the resident or the visitor.
