Belief is the foundation of the religion and contains the essence of the call of the prophets and messengers, from the first to the last. The servant will also be questioned about it on the Day of Resurrection; two statements about which the first and the last will be asked: “Whom did you worship?” “What did you answer the Messengers?”
We are addressing, if Allah wills, a topic that concerns every Muslim man and woman, and this topic is none other than that of belief (‘aqeedah). It is the foundation that corrects all acts of worship, for any act of worship that is not based on sound belief is rejected from its performer, even if he exhausts himself in carrying it out and dedicates his entire life to it.
Belief is the foundation of the religion and contains the essence of the call of the prophets and messengers, from the first to the last.
