Nullifiers of Islam Lessons in the explanation of the epistle of the nullifiers of Islam by Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab, Commentary by Salih al Fawzan ibn al Fawzan, Ibn Badis
The book entitled "The Nullifiers of Islam" is among the most important works on belief written by Sheikh Al-Islam, the reviver, Muhammad ibn 'Abd Al-Wahhāb, may Allah have mercy on him. He wrote it after realizing what was breaking his heart, namely that the people of his time were affected by various nullifiers of Islam. He endeavored to call people to the monotheism of Allah, to His unification in worship, and to abandon the worship of anything other than Him, while warning against falling into polytheism. He fought to lead people out of the darkness of polytheism and innovation towards the light of monotheism and the Sunnah, without fearing the blame of the blamers for the sake of Allah. He wrote this work to warn people against falling into these nullifiers. May Allah reward him with the best of rewards for the community of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Scholars and students of knowledge pay great attention to this work, learning, teaching, explaining, and commenting on it in mosques, according to the belief of the People of the Sunnah and the Community, and not according to the belief of the takfīr followers [those who declare Muslims as disbelievers for sins less than disbelief] or the followers of different factions, who explain this work according to what their souls desire, thereby deceiving many people from the commoners and the elite.
Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab
Muhammad Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab (1703-1792) was a prominent Muslim scholar and theologian who lived in the Najd region, in present-day Saudi Arabia. He is best known for being the founder of the religious movement called Wahhabism, a strict and conservative interpretation of Islam that emphasizes monotheism and rejects religious practices that may be considered as worship of saints or idols.
Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab studied Islamic jurisprudence and theology under various scholars before developing his own religious doctrine, which was later adopted by the Saudi tribe of Al-Saud. This alliance between Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab and the Al-Saud tribe led to the creation of the first Saudi state in 1744, which later became modern Saudi Arabia.
Ibn Abd Al-Wahhab wrote several works on theology and Islamic jurisprudence, including "The Nullifiers of Islam," which is considered one of his most important works. His teachings had a significant influence on the spread of Islam in the region, as well as on the development of Wahhabism, which has become a significant religious and political force in the Muslim world.
